Baked fresh each week by Helen of Bread and Blooms, our homemade freshly milled sandwich bread is made with high-quality, freshly milled wheat and simple ingredients you can feel good about. Fresh milling preserves more flavor and nutrients, creating a loaf that’s wholesome, hearty, and far beyond anything you’ll find on a grocery store shelf.
Unlike traditional rustic sourdough, this loaf is crafted specifically for sandwiches — soft, sliceable, and perfectly structured for everything from classic PB&J to stacked farm-fresh sandwiches. Naturally fermented for better flavor and digestibility, it offers a tender crumb with just the right balance of structure and softness. It toasts beautifully and makes the most incredible grilled cheese.

We offer pre-orders so you can guarantee a fresh loaf each week. Pre-orders must be purchased by Tuesday at noon for Friday pickup at Gypsy Chicks and Blooms Farm Stand in Montrose, Colorado (Fridays from 10–5). Your name will be placed on your loaf for easy pickup. Any remaining loaves will be available first come, first served.
